Hello SBBers,
Today, 12/8/05 at 11:30 a.m., we saw at least eight TREE SWALLOWS foraging
over the boat ramp in Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park in the Gilroy
area. I think that additional TRES may have already flown overhead by the
time we noticed them, and since we could not see into the sun to count any more,
we could count at least the eight. At least three of them could be seen to
lack bright coloration, although their markings as Tree Swallows were very
clear. This is the most at a single time that we can recall seeing this
time of year.
