Around noon yesterday, 7 December, 7 swans, presumably TUNDRA SWANS, were in
Mountain View Pond A2W. As they were very distant from the shore,
and I had binoculars
but no scope, I could not confirm the swan species. Three were gray immatures.
A BURROWING OWL was at the mound near the road across from the golf course
parking lot.
A HUTTON'S VIREO was in the trees about 100 yards north of the
Shoreline Lake
Cafe.
