RE: [SBB] Shoreline BUOWs

Tonight at 5pm Robbie Prue and I saw 8 Burrowing Owls at the location noted
below. 2 adults, 3 juveniles and 3 tops of heads. One of the adults had a
band on the leg.

Subject: [SBB] Shoreline BUOWs

Hi,
I saw the Shoreline Park Burrowing Owls this morning, and there are six!
Two adults and four juvies. They're quite near the busy bike/ped path, and
though all were standing on the mound, clearly visible, they're saved from
harrassment by their small size and ground squirrel-like color. As earlier
reported, they're on the Bay side of the entrance to the Shoreline golf
course.

All six looked skyward at one point, though I didn't see what they were
looking at. They mostly were doing what BUOWs do -- hanging out and looking
around.
