Hi All,
A couple of miscellaneous tidbits found during errands lately:
No. Rough-winged Swallows gathering nest material beneath I-280 at El Monte Rd. in Los Altos 4/26/2005 (at least 2 pairs).
Olive-sided Flycatcher in song along Moody Rd., at Murietta Ln., at lunchtime Tues. 4/26/2005. One or two OSFL individuals have been detected during migration between this location and Hidden Villa every season for the past 8 years or so.
Thirty Pine Siskins going south past Gate 5 at monte Bello in the late afternoon 4/26.
A Lazuli Bunting continues to sing from the slopes next to the HV hostel today 4/27.
