Yesterday, I was hiking with a friend in Sonol Park in the East Bay. We
were hiking uphill on the trail along a small steam and disturbed many
Band-tailed Pigeons that were sitting in 10 or 20 oak trees that were
spread out along the stream. Why were all the BTPI together in one spot? I
saw no others outside that spot.
If you've got any time at all to be outdoors, don't miss this year's
wildflower display!
Good birding,
Nancy Teater
