[SBB] Shoreline early AM

Didn't like the light I got Wednesday so I returned to Shoreline today at
sunrise for the eared grebe in breeding plumage. Don't look now, but he's
gone.
There were several pied-billed grebes doing their underwater disappearing
act. The scoters tried to imitate them:

But my favorite scoter antics were these threat displays last February:

A pair of first-year ring-billed gulls got chummy. And the Forster's terns
are back with a noisy vengeance!
