Rufous Hummingbird is a transient througout CA, so one would not likely to
be hanging around for any significant period.  However, Allen's Hummingbird
is widely regarded as more agressive than Anna's Hummingbird, so it's
unlikely that nesting Allen's would be driven out by Anna's Hummingbirds.
In fact, the converse seems to be much more prevalent, at least in SF.

I have a theory that they are around but get chased away by Anna's
unless Anna's are busy building nests (now).  Completely unsupported.
