[SBB] Parasitic Jaeger On A10

All:

I apologize for the late post, since my computer is in Santa Maria.  On Fri afternoon (9/21), I looked for the booby in Alviso.  While I did not have satisfactory looks at the booby, the PARASITIC JAEGER was present between 3:04 and 3:13 pm.  It was resting in A10 some 80 feet from the dike between A10 and A11 and a similar distance from the main trail.  It made two feeble attempts to harass RING-BILLED GULLs but eventually flew off to the west.  The gold in the head was reflecting in the afternoon sun.  The back was a rather chocolate brown.  The underwing showed extensive white in the primary and secondary feather shafts.
