All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I saw the two continuing WHITE-FACED IBIS
in the far western edge of the Lockheed-Martin pond nearest the hill
located west of the Sunnyvale Water Treatment Facility parking lot.
Nothing special was noted among the ducks at the facility. Two STILT
SANDPIPERS were spotted along the Environmental Education Center entrance road
just as we were leaving (Dave Weber had seen four there earlier). Our
first stop today at the Sunnyvale Baylands Park was for the "Slowskis" with
fewer of the "usual suspects" than in recent, previously unrewarding stops there
:-(
Take care,
Bob Reiling |
