Birders,
We have to have at least one bird sighting posted
today on SBB.
I biked around the Shoreline Lake area and the
nearby ponds this afternoon, 11-11-07. Then I sat on my stool looking
through my bins and tried to pick out a non-Surf Scoter among the hundreds
of scoters. The Surf Scoters started to fly out and a WHITE-WINGED
SCOTER just below me revealed itself when it joined them flying NE
across the lake and then SE. I wonder where they
go.
Earlier I saw a SAY'S PHOEBE in the vicinity of
where the Burrowing Owls nested opposite the Shoreline Golf Course.
Good Birding,
Peggy Don
