[SBB] Ed Levin and Calaveras

Hi Birders-

 

Stopped at Levin Park E of Milpitas this morning before the crowds arrived. Notable birds seen around Spring Valley pond and the nature trail included one White-breasted Nuthatch, two each Hutton's and Warbling Vireos, several Lazuli Buntings, an Oak Titmouse family, and a pair of Lawrence's Goldfinch. At Calaveras Reservoir the Bald Eagle nest with one adult and the chicks was viewed against a background of bright fog.
