Hi all:

On Sunday, our Palo Alto Adult School class ventured
out to Mines Rd. and San Antonio Valley. Highlights
were: 
two Lewis's Woodpeckers carrying food to a hole in the
oak adjacent to the granary-telephone pole 1/4-mile
south of the Junction cafe on the east side of the
road.
Two more Lewis's Woodpeckers, 4 Tri-colored blackbirds
and 2 Lawrence's Goldfinches (both males) at the pond
on the east side of the road approximatley 1 mile
south of the Junction Cafe.
4 Lawrence's Goldfinches (1 female) at the old fire
station 100 yards north of the junction cafe.
