[SBB] Ed Levin and Montebello pix

Saturday morning I hiked up to the sycamores at Ed Levin, and found East
Bay birders and photographers Bob Lewis and Eleanor Briccetti already
there. Bob spotted a RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW returning regularly to sing
from the fence below the trail and just past the grove, and we were all
able to get pictures of him. We heard several LAZULI BUNTINGS, but had no
luck getting photo-quality views of them --- very frustrating. Also
BULLOCK'S ORIOLES (I saw a pair in the sycamore below the trail) and HOUSE
WREN (heard only, in my case anyway.)

This morning I decided I wanted to get some pictures of those darn LAZULIS
after all, so I headed up to Montebello before 7 and spent a couple of
hours trying to get close to the several singing males. I was able to photo
a few of them (including one not in breeding plumage -- a first-summer?) as
well as one female. They are not easy to get close to, especially toting a
big lens and tripod.
