[SBB] Mines Road nutcase at MP 14.1 - beware

Anyone taking a Mines Road trip, beware of the nutcase at milepost 14.1. He
lives in one of the houses by the bridge, and when we started to look at the
trees in front of his house, he shot off a pellet gun. He said "How would
you like it if I came to the city and parked in front of your house and
looked at your house with binoculars?" We replied that we were watching the
birds, not his house, and he said that he was going to shoot all the
expletive-deleted birds so that people would stop parking there, and that we
should go away.

So my suggestion is not to rile him up, because I believe he will shoot
birds. Do not look at any of the trees between the creek and the houses.

Does anyone know if a call to the county sheriff's office would be of any
use? The man did not threaten us, but he sure seems to have something to
hide.
