[SBB] all around

Hi Birders-

I checked some far apart places around the county today. At Coyote Creek Golf Course there was one male Great-tailed Grackle near the pond along the entrance road. At Llagas Creek in Gilroy no chats were seen or heard while walking from Bloomfield Rd to past the second dry pond. At Rancho San Antonio County Park in Cupertino the Western Screech-owl was enjoying the warm weather at noon. Later in the afternoon I did my weekly check of two species E of Milpitas. At Calaveras Reservoir both adult Bald Eagles were perched high on the nest. Between them one gray fuzzball shuddered once or twice but was otherwise still. In Ed Levin Park I found only one Lawrence's Goldfinch behind the rangers office.

Dave Weber,
Milpitas
