Hi,
At about 1:30 today there was a BRANT with some canada geese in the
channel between Twin Creeks softball park and pond A4 . (That channel
was recently stripped/dredged of vegetation.) It was unafraid of me and
my bike and paddled right by me. It was almost too close to focus my
binoculars. My camera battery was dead.
There was also a goose that appeared to be a hybrid Canada with
something else (it was "white-fronted" but clearly not pure). And a
female merganser on the A4 pond, probably red-breasted but I lost it.
