I spent this morning around Ed Levin County Park. A RUFUS-CROWNED
SPARROW perched on a post right along the trail about half way between
the swinging cattle gate and the Sycamores up behind the dog park, and a
LINCOLN'S SPARROW was in the same area, both around 11:30. Earlier,
evoking Noah, two VARIED THRUSH were feeding on the golf course, two
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW perched on a wire, and a male and female AMERICAN
KESTREL were together in a tree, near the Elm parking lot off Downing
Road. A brief stop at the Tamaracks early in the afternoon found a
RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER, but no Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
