This afternoon (13 March) I stopped by the Coyote Creek Field Station
(accessible to members of the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory) in Alviso
to check the waterbird pond. A first-cycle Glaucous Gull was among the 250
or so gulls there; about 150 of the others were Thayer's, an unusually high
proportion.
