[SBB] Stevens Creek, Ed Levin Co. Park & New Chicago Marsh

All,

This morning Frank Vanslager and I had a singing AMERICAN DIPPER in Stevens Creek (about half way between the second and third bridges above the junction of Stevens Canyon Rd and Mt. Eden Rd), at least three VARIED THRUSH were in the Villa Maria Picnic area of Stevens Creek Co. Park, a male ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD was near the northern end of the street that borders the eastern edge of Spring Valley Golf Course (another in a eucalyptus tree in the Spring Valley portion of Ed Levin Co. Park), at least two Varied Thrush were in the far northeast portion of the Elm Picnic area in Ed Levin Co. Park (near the far northwest corner of Spring Valley Golf Course) and a LESSER YELLOWLEGS was in New Chicago Marsh south of the EEC entrance road (this LEYE looked fairly heavy bodied, close in size to Dowitchers nearby, but was clearly much smaller than a nearby GREATER YELLOWLEGS.

Take care,
Bob Reiling
