All: This morning, Sunday July 1, was the first time in years that I walked clockwise around the Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant’s “West Pond.” Although I tallied 42 species, it was not very birdy. It’s still too early. But the reason for this e-mail is that I originally started out to the west along the edge of the Lockheed Marshes … and discovered that the Cargill Salt security fence, which prevented crossing the bridge towards the east edge of A3W, has been removed! This is not just a breach of the chain link fence; it has been cleanly removed, as if it never existed. Frank Vanslager See what's free at AOL.com. |
