Today at 5PM, for the second time ever, I saw an OSPREY adorning the top of the lone tall conifer, glowing in the evening light, just east of Guadalupe River and north of Montague Expwy. I guess its starting to become a regular there and I may stop reporting it.
It was too tempting since I had my camera in the car, made a rapid U-turn, parked in the new condo complex at the corner of Lick Mill Pkwy and Montague, got my camera out, but by then time I got in range of the tree, about a 150 AMERICAN CROWs decided to stop-over in the area and chased the Osprey away. Darn!
