Hello,
This afternoon was the first time my husband and I have been able to visit
Sunnyvale Baylands Park in two months and the birds we found made it
special. All of the birds mentioned here were in or near the permanent pond
just south of the Wave Walk terminus. There were at least two BLACK-NECKED
STILTS, a SNOWY EGRET, AMERICAN COOTS, RUDDY DUCKS, a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE, an
AMERICAN KESTREL, a female NORTHERN HARRIER, a female COMMON GOLDENEYE and a
female BUFFLEHEAD in or near the pond.
