After failing to refind Christmas count tanagers at Stanford today
(6 Jan), I fared better at the Baylands.
The Geng Road pond had 3 HOODED MERGANSERs (1 male, 2 females)
and 2 GREEN HERONs at 10:45 AM.
The BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER showed up on cue at the ITT gate,
and a FERRUGINOUS HAWK flew over heading south in the same vicinity
at 11:15 AM.
