Hi Birders-
The Spring Valley area of Ed Levin Park was quite birdy despite the very cold and rainy weather. Woodpeckers were well represented with the still hanging on Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and a Yellow-shafted-type Northern Flicker. Hairy was the only woodpecker sp not detected. Big flocks of Juncos and Yellow-rumps were all over. An Allen's Hummingbird was at the eucalyptus at the end of the road. Heard but not seen were Great-horned Owl, White-breasted Nuthatch and Wild Turkeys.
