This morning (2/18) Dean Manley and I were unable to find the Yellow-headed
Blackbird seen yesterday at the Palo Alto Duck Pond by Frank Vanslager.
The CATTLE EGRET was on the northwestern edge of the pond all morning
long. I did manage to find a male and a female BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD
in a mixed flock of Blackbirds (BREWER'S and RED-WINGED) and EUROPEAN STARLINGS
for a county year bird.
