I searched again for Peggy Don's wayward Brant under freeway 85 in South 
San Jose this afternoon. I found it snoozing among a small flock of 
Canada Geese on the east side of the pond directly under the freeway 
close to Winfield Blvd. I parked where Chynoweth dead ends at the river 
and walked south on the trail a short distance. Moments later I returned 
with Frank and Joan Brauch who live nearby. By this time the geese were 
in the water and alert. We had very nice looks at the Brandt and the 
Greater White fronted Goose. Thank you Peggy!!
