Yesterday, 7 Feb 07, there were 4 HOODED MERGANSERS (2 males, 2 females) on the water hazard pond of the Coyote Creek Golf Course.
Today, 8 Feb 07, the pond under hwy 85 at the end of the Guadalupe River Trail, north of Blossom Hill Road, had a large flock of CANADA GEESE that contained 4 CACKLING GEESE (minima). The creek next to the water district pond had 19 COMMON MERGANSERS and 3 HOODED MERGANSERS (a male and 2 females).
