This afternoon, Friday, August 24, there was a flock of yellowlegs (at
least 20) in the Coast Casey Forebay. I assume the big ones were
Greater Yellowlegs and the small ones were Lesser Yellowlegs. Photos

In Charleston Slough, there were a lot of shorebirds, but nothing
unusual. The only ducks there were Mallards and Northern Shovelers.
They eventually flew into Adobe Creek, in groups of around 15. There
were not a lot of pelicans, but every few minutes one to three would
fly from Salt Pond A1 into Adobe Creek.
Today's highlight at Shoreline Lake was a group of three Marbled
Godwits eating clams by the western shore.
