Today, 18 Aug 07, Steve Rottenborn and I had 2 BAIRD'S
SANDPIPERS in Crittenden Marsh. These birds were
towards the middle of the marsh and eventually flew
off to the far corner, away from the public levee.
Before we met up in the morning, Steve had 38 RED
KNOTS at the Stevens Creek mouth. There was only one
left there when we returned together. A CLARK'S GREBE
and 2 WESTERN GREBES were in salt pond A2W across the
creek.
