Hi Birders-
This morning I drove my daughter and her friend to the Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mtn View to get tickets for the upcoming Warp Tour, dude. When I got out of the car there was a 'weeking' male Hooded Oriole in a palm. Far out. In the afternoon I drove up to Calaveras Reservoir. One Bald Eagle was on the nest. The other flew in carrying a stick. When I wasn't looking it flew off, then reappeared cruising along the uphill side of the road. It returned to the nest and both birds sat high, providing a great view.
