Birders,
I stopped by the Stevens Creek Resrvoir this morning, 04/14/07, and my eyes were immediately drawn to a small group of birds in the water. In one binocular view were a COMMON LOON, 2 COMMON MERGANSERs, a CLARK'S GREBE and 2 DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTs. Fishing overhead was a CASPIAN TERN. There were more birds and species than I usually see in a whole year at the reservoir.
