[SBB] Nesting Northern Rough Wing Swallows

Matthew mentioned the Robin's nest he just came across
and it reminded me of my observation this morning.
This was the first morning of the year where I saw the
return of the NORTHERN ROUGH WING SWALLOWS looking for
nesting locations under the 85 over-ramp above
Saratoga Ave. It makes red lights a pleasure.

Flying close to the tree tops along the Saratoga
foothills, we are also observing TURKEY VULTURES and
WHITE THROATED SWIFTS. Although both species can be
seen throughout the year, they are not usually
observed flying so low as they almost skim the tree
tops. I suspect they are looking to nest in the area.
