Meant to send this out a while back, but it got lost in my inbox. Fortunately, it's this weekend, not last weekend (but sorry for the late notice!). This is a pretty nice birding area also (last fall I remember it having an Orange Bishop), so if you're looking for something to do this weekend....
I'm going to try to wander over myself.....

My name is Clysta Seney McLemore and I live in Santa Clara and volunteer for the Ulistac Natural Area Restoration and Education Project (UNAREP).
I've noticed from your postings that you live here as well. Not sure if you know about Ulistac but we have been doing a small restoration project, a bird and butterfly garden, with school kids and corporate volunteers in this park that lies along the Guadalupe River.
We are having our annual "Wildflower Celebration" on April 7th and thought I'd invite you to attend -- it's a nice place to bird (for an urban area), but it's a portion of an old golf course and funds are tight so it's definitely a place where you have to 'take the long view'.
I'm attaching a flyer with the info and here is the website link: http://www.scu.edu/cas/environmentalstudies/ulistac/wildflowercelebration.cfm
Hope to see you on April 7th at the Natural Area.
