All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I tried for but missed the Tennessee
Warbler on the Guadalupe River trail downstream of Blossom Hill Road [even with
the help of Mike Mammoser]. We then went to Arzino Ranch where we saw the
male YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD and the CATTLE EGRET. A quick check of
the New Chicago Marsh failed to yield any "notables."
In my e-mail last Friday [9/29] I failed to report a FOF AMERICAN
PIPIT seen working the mainline railroad tracks [that run into Alviso] on the
west side of New Chicago Marsh.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
