[SBB] YBSA continues at Ed Levin CP

SBBers,

This morning, 11/16/06, at Ed Levin CP around 11 AM the first bird I saw after parking in the small parking area closest to the tamarisks (Thanks to Bill Bousman"s excellent directions!) was the YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER.  It preferred a spot hidden by the needles.  When it went up the tree its movements were fairly quick and, of course, it usually had most of its body on the backside.  It was quite active affording very few good looks.  Viewing it through my scope my observation was similar to Bill's.  My initial impression was that it was not strongly patterned like an adult.
