[SBB] Merlin & Snipe Los Gatos OKA

Hi All -

I took beginning students out to the Los Gatos Creek Trail this morning and we walked around the (Campbell) Dell Ave. ponds and back to the Oka ponds.  Nothing too out of the ordinary, but we did count 10 - WILSON'S SNIPE on the island off Oka. And that was just what we could find in amongst the vegetation, I suspect there are more.

Other birds of note, a MERLIN fly-by, SPOTTED SANDPIPER working the pond edges and the various ducks are coming back. Yellow-rumps, (some Audubon, and many Myrtle) were the most common species of everything we saw this morning.
