I checked Shoreline Lake this morning, 4/6/06. There were at least 25 Surf Scoters, 3 Horned Grebes, 3 Eared Grebes, 2 Pied-billed Grebes, 2 Forster's Terns.
Thanks to Ken Lajoie for identifying the Western Sandpipers in my photo from yesterday.

Folks:
This morning, 4/5/06, I briefly visited Shoreline Lake and Salt Pond A1. A
CACKLING GOOSE, likely _minima_ was near the bike trail beside Salt Pond
A1. It was associating with a single CANADA GOOSE. On Shoreline Lake,
Com. Goldeneye and Surf Scoter numbers are dropping and at least one HORNED
GREBE is still present.
