Folks:
I stopped by the Palo Alto Baylands this morning, 3/15/06 on a midling tide
and saw both of the male EURASIAN WIGEON near the I.C. parking lot. I
almost had them in the same frame of the camera at one point.
A bit later at Shoreline Park I saw one BURROWING OWL on the drive in, and
a sleeping female-plumaged (hey, Jack!) RED-BREASTED MERGANSER sleeping on
the lake. I only counted 11 COMMON GOLDENEYES today.
