[SBB] Charleston Slough/Shoreline 3/2

Took off from work again today, and hid out at Charleston Slough and
Shoreline.

Overall, a pretty quiet day (2-4PM): highlights included egrets (one
of each, the snowy egret has put on his dating gear), canada geese,
northern shoveler, ruddy duck, american avocet and black-necked
stilt, a whole bunch of Black Phoebe's (is it just me, or are there
are lot more of these than usual? Not just at the bay, but I've got
them at work, and a pair here in santa clara nesting....), ten or
more Anna's hummingbirds, coots and moorhens, marbled godwits.
Today's LBBs were White-Crowned and Golden-Crowned sparrows. Also, a
couple of scaups.

Off on shoreline lake I ran into Mr. and Mrs. Common Goldeneyes and a
young horned grebe, with the construction, it's otherwise quite
boring....

One thing I noticed today -- a distinct lack of Mallards.

IMHO: Jargon. Acronym for In My Humble Opinion. Used to flag as an
opinion
something that is clearly from context an opinion to everyone except the
mentally dense. Opinions flagged by IMHO are actually rarely humble.
IMHO.
