Are there any tips for finding the Screech Owl or the Bobcat? I can look of
course, just wondering if there is any special direction as to where to see
the owl.
thanks!

This morning at Rancho San Antonio, the world's tamest WESTERN SCREECH-OWL
was displaying nicely for anyone that cared to look. Not 40 feet away, the
world's tamest BOBCAT was equally confiding. Both were almost totally
oblivious to the hordes of hikers, bikers and joggers than passed by while I
was there. BTW, the bobcat might be slightly injured; its left rear leg
appeared to be stiff when walking (it never cared enough to actually run
anywhere).
If this isn't enough, most other expected species for that habitat are
easily observed in the area.
Amazing,
Mark
