[SBB] Calling Townsend's Sulitaire

All,

 

After finding nothing of note on the upper and lower saddles of Loma Prieta (best birds were a couple of LAZULI BUNTINGS and three poorly seen Swallows) we stopped at the reservoir entrance on Wright Station Road where we heard a clearly calling (not singing) TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE southwest of the road.  Unfortunately, we were unable to locate the bird and it stopped calling after a couple minutes.  A second try for the bird on our way back up the hill was for naught.
