This morning Pat Kenny, Roland Kenner and I tried, unsuccessfully for the
second day in a row, to relocate the previously reported calling Bell's
Vireo in Coyote Creek (downstream of the Hwy 82 entrance to the Golf
Course). Best birds were, a group of six male WOOD DUCKS (flying
upstream) and AMERICAN KESTRELS seen feeding two, nearly grown,
young in a heart shaped hole (facing the bike path) in an isolated
Sycamore located near the creek (and mile marker 10/5.5 on the east side
of the bike path).
