[SBB] Black Tern

Today, 6 Jun 06, I had a BLACK TERN foraging low over the water in New Chicago Marsh at the EEC. It was in the northwest corner of the marsh, east of the railroad tracks. A WESTERN GULL and a CASPIAN TERN were on the island out front of the EEC. FORSTER'S TERNS are doing their breeding thing on all the islands in this pond. I had 3 LESSER SCAUP in the pond as well.

For those considering the Sage Thrasher at the end of Montebello Road, you should know that there is no legal parking anywhere along Montebello Road, including at the gated end where the thrasher was seen (there is a "no parking" sign right there). I took a chance on Sunday morning and parked there for 45 minutes without a problem, but it's just a matter of timing.
