I saw only one at the same place, plus a Ground Squirrel that seemed to be sharing the same mound. A bit surprising. The Barrows Goldeneys were still on Shoreline lake too, 1 male and at least 1 female (maybe 2).

I saw the two Burrowing Owls this morning at Shoreline Park across from the
road from Michael's, as reported by Bill Bousman. They were on either side
of the bike path, with one sitting up for all to see and the other just
poking up its head outside the burrow. Can we hope for two owl families
this year?
