This morning I saw 2 White-throated Sparrows on N.
Pastoria St. just south of Maude in Sunnyvale. I got a
photograph of one buried in the thicket, but it is
clearly recognizable. The angle of the head & shadows
don't help clearly identify the sub-species, but I
believe I captured a white-striped WT Sparrow. They
were in a tree/thicket row at the end of the first
parking lot that borders a large empty lot on the left
(east side) after turning south on N. Pastoria from
Maude.
