Hi Birders-
Went to PA Baylands for the heck of it. A Clapper Rail was foraging on the muddy bank next to the bridge and below the parking lot. A Ring-necked Pheasant was taking a dirt bath along the path to the restrooms/marina. One female Hooded Merganser was the only one at the end of Geng Rd. Skies were dark at 3pm so I went over to Byxbee Park where another birder had the same idea. At 3:30 she spotted a Short-eared Owl cruising way out in the marsh.
