[SBB] Some photo talk

Apologies in advance to the SSB list for talking
about bird photography.

While staking out the Black-and-White Warbler in
Penitencia Creek Park Saturday, I was surprised by
the great opportunities along that stretch of creek
to shoot Townsend's Warblers. For years, I've been
frustrated by the difficulty of shooting TOWAs. They
stay high in the conifers and move fast.

The Townsend's Warbler's along the creek stayed
low and offered great, close views. See:

If you've been foiled in your attempts to get
shots of Townsend's Warblers (and who hasn't?), try
this area. It's also overflowing at the moment with
Ruby-Crowned Kinglets, many offering great photo
ops.
