All,
I
refound the Black-and-white Warbler around 3:10 pm and watched it feeding
actively for 10 minutes or so along Penitencia Creek. I had it even
further downstream, approximately opposite Kyle St in a large sycamore just
downstream from another that has an old treehouse or platform in it. It
captured and ate an insect that looked like an earwig and seemed to be busy
exploring knotholes in the sycamore quite often. Always a pleasure to
watch. Cheers,

This morning Frank Vanslager re-found the female BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER in
the bottom half of a large Sycamore 100 feet downstream of the wooden bridge on
the north side of Penitencia Creek in Eastern Penitencia Creek Park (park
near Cayman Way on Penitencia Creek Rd and save the walk). A County Lifer
for me, thanks Frank.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
