All,
I made a quick check of the Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant tern
flock on my bike at 4:30pm this afternoon 8/11/06. I couldn't find
anything other than FORSTER'S TERNS there today, but a juvenile
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was roosting with other peeps on the island in
the northeast corner of the west pond. Also present, on the east dike of
the east pond, were two color-banded BLACK-NECKED STILTS. On their right
legs were green bands over black/silver radio antennas and on the left
were L:yellow over yellow over green and L:yellow over orange over red.
