A walk yesterday at Henry Coe State Park yielded a number of retuning
migrant birds including: many (singing) Orange-crowned Warblers, at least
two Bullock's Orioles, and single Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and House Wrens.
A male Common Merganser in a flooded Coyote Creek was a treat: we have a
couple of breeding records for this species at Coe, but it is very uncommon.
Two Golden Eagles were seen as well.
